Resources, budgeting and exhibitions? Help us help you! AFA & EMMEDIA have teamed up to bring you a two part workshop guiding media artists on the basics of grant application! In part two of the workshop, join us at the EMMEDIA Main Space, 2005B 10 Ave SW, where we will show attendees available resources, such as residencies, exhibition space rental, editing suites and audio recording suites, and equipment. We will also cover the basics of budgeting for art production (creation and exhibition), research (creation of work) and training. There will be an interactive portion where attendees will work on budgets and project ideas for their own applications. We want attendees to leave the workshop with an understanding of the available funding to make their projects happen, as well as sample project ideas. This workshop is completely free to attend, but donations are welcome. By signing up for this workshop, you consent to photo and video being taken for EMMEDIA's promotional and archival purposes.
