Step into the ring with the fearless women who refused to back down!

Join us for a special screening of Right to Fight, a powerful documentary that chronicles the rise of women’s boxing and the trailblazing fighters who took on a sexist system and won. Through rare archival footage and raw, unfiltered storytelling, witness how boxers like Marian “Lady Tiger” Trimiar, Cathy “Cat” Davis, and Pat “Liberation” Pineda broke barriers and changed the game forever.

This film was screened at Sheffield DocFest and DOC NYC, earned a commendation at the Sports Broadcast Awards, and was nominated for Best Single Documentary at the Broadcast Digital Awards.

Stick around after the screening for a discussion on women in sports and how the fight continues today with the film's director, Georgina Cammalleri!

Presented in association w/ Lisa Lipton’s Chambers’ Ring exhibition. Proudly supported by Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Calgary Arts Development, City of Calgary, EMMEDIA, Calgary Boxing Club, Rogelio Boxing and Carvel Creative.
