About the ArtistsWayne Patrick Garrett is a musician, artist, and composer whose instrumental music weaves worlds of atmospheric fantasy. His debut album ‘Marine Life' is an exploration of the pedal steel guitar as a means of conjuring dreamy soundscapes and expressing abstract emotions, inviting the listener to get lost in expansive sonic environments. Wayne has been dreaming of a pool party & sound float since releasing the album in late 2024.The Hibernation Project is an experimental art series organized by Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett, usually during the deepest, darkest days of Winter. Highly collaborative, site-responsive, and ever-changing, The Hibernation Project expanded in recent years to include EARS HAVE EYES (a monthly sound art radio), IDLE WORSHIP (a mobile car-based exhibition), and whatever else the artists find exciting ~ including this rad Summer collab with EMMEDIA!https://hibernationproject.ca/ Live band: Wayne Patrick Garrett playing ‘Marine Life’ with Keith Rodger & Patrick HamiltonParticipatory aquasize: Desiree NaultPerformative objects: Caitlind Brown
