AFA & EMMEDIA have teamed up to bring you a two part workshop guiding media artists on the basics of grant application! In part one of this workshop, Kari McQueen will cover the Alberta Foundation for the Arts's Visual Arts and New Media Individual Project Grant, ISCP Residency in New York, scholarships and the Film and Video Individual Project Grant via Zoom.

Those who sign up for part one on Eventbrite will receive the Zoom link prior to the day of the workshop. If you are also staying for the in-person Part 2 of this workshop, we will also be streaming this Zoom session! We want attendees to leave the workshop with an understanding of the available funding to make their projects happen, as well as sample project ideas. The workshop is completely free to attend, but donations are welcome. Got any questions for Kari? Send them to operations@emmedia.ca or message us on our social media pages so we can compile a list for her prior to the workshop!
