Grant Application Basics for Media Artists

Grant Application Basics for Media Artists

AFA & EMMEDIA have teamed up to bring you a workshop guiding media artists on the basics of grant applications! AFA's Kari McQueen will cover the Alberta Foundation for the Arts's Visual Arts and New Media Individual Project Grant, ISCP Residency in New York, scholarships and the Film and Video Individual Project Grant, as well as how to navigate the GATE Portal.

Kari McQueen will also offer 15- 20 minute one-to-one grant draft feedback sessions after the presentation. Attendees can bring their grant draft for review!

Attendees will leave the workshop with an understanding of the available funding to make their projects happen, as well as sample project ideas. The workshop is completely free to attend, but donations are welcome.
