Projection mapping gives artists the possibility to create illusions of deconstruction and redefinition of physical shapes, right in front of your eyes. Wrapping projected virtual content around a real world object like a second skin of light is as much an art as it is a technical process… and never fails to astonish! This FREE workshop is an introduction to the tools and methods you’ll need to create these illuminated illusions, as well as an approach to ideas and concepts for such projects based on an example created collectively during the class.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop complete with non-linear video editing software (preferably Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X. Participants may also download a free demo of the projection mapping software, Painting With Light).
