Luma Launch

Launch of Luma: A Film & Media Art Quarterly
August 13, 2015 @ 8-10PM
Blank Page Studio – 1221 B Kensington Rd NW

Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) and EMMEDIA Gallery and Production Society are excited to celebrate the launch of our new joint publication, Luma. Merging the missions of CSIF’s Answer Print and EMMEDIA’s Handheld, Luma is a quarterly online publication that aims to expand critical dialogue about film and media art through essays, news, reviews, interviews, reflections, and photo/video essays. Luma will continue to move forward as a voice for Western Canadian filmmakers and artists, providing a much needed platform for discourse. For more information on Luma, please go to
