THIS IS MY VILLAGE – TOMAS JONSSON

THIS IS MY VILLAGE
APRIL 7, 14, 21, 28, 2012, 1 pm or by appointment (email nuna_ca@yahoo.com)

This is My Village is an opportunity exploration of the past and future potential of the East Village. Through telling and sharing stories, we will be giving space to stories and histories that are not adequately recognized. Starting from the ‘Walk Stop’ sign located outside of the Seafood Market Studios, weekly walks will take place every Saturday at 1 p.m. (or by appointment). A website will collect the audio recordings of conversations that result from the walks. (http://aporee.org/maps/projects/tmv), which will be virtually located at the site of the future Central Library in the East Village.

This project was developed through the support of the EMMEDIA Artist in Residence program, and presented in conjunction with the This is my City Festival.
